Biography

Bonjour, my name is Benjammin Goldstein and I am entering my third year of chemical engineering at the University of Toronto. I am assisting Prof. Steve Mann at the eyetap laboratory with the development of his musical instrument, the Funtain. My contribution to the Funtain is the design of an analog to digital converter which can read voltage values from a sensor and properly change them to a digital signal which a computer can interpret. As a chemical engineering student I will also be helping Steve Mann with fluid flow calculations as well as electrochemistry issues with the Funtain. Outside of the eyetap lab I keep myself occupied with various musical endeavours. I am proffecient guitarist who has been playing the instrument for nearly a decade and has been playing in bands for most of that decade. Currently I am involved with two bands, The Kill Decibel and PLOG . Upon graduation from university I plan on pursueing a career in a musical direction(if my dept is not too large). Au revior.
