I don't believe so.  Seems that the hardware that drives the display is 
built into some kind of big custom chip (or somesuch).  The info is 
somewhere on http://www.wearcam.org (I think).

The Faxview uses a Motorola microcontroller (68HC07 I think) to drive the 
mirror and LEDs.  I was hoping that I could find someone with some 
experience in uC land, as I _think_ (from looking at some diagrams at 
PED's site) that I could hack together some hardware to drive the thing, 
if someone could program the microcontroller.

Of course, perhaps I should get off my lazy arse and learn to do this 
myself...

On the other hand, one might be able to figure out the meanings of the 
signals being sent to the HC07 and hook the thing to the good ol' 
parallel port. :)

Hrm, good idea...  I saw a VB in a pawn shop for $30...  Perhaps I should 
purchase it...
