Re: 900PCS PCMCIA WIRELESS LANS FS

Someone in my area is selling IBM spread spectrum wireless lan PCMCIA
cards for $20/card.  With an antenna adapter, it sounds like a single
card can be converted into a base station.  i.e. plug one pcmcia card
into a desktop machine at home/office and add an antena and you can set
up a wire-wireless connection.

Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be any support for linux (based
on the linux-pcmcia How-to.

Would writing a driver for one of these be trivial? (I'm guessing it
depends on how easy it is to get detailed specs from IBM)
