Linux has been ported to the 68000 (which is MMU-less, so memory is handled
differently than an ordinary Linux target; a pre-alpha system of sorts runs
on the PalmPilot---see http://ryeham.ee.ryerson.ca/uClinux/).

So the dream may not be far away, especially since there's flash
in the Faxview---the PalmPilot memory-expansion boards are the same.
