I've been lurking on the list for some time as well, and am very enthusiastic about building my own wearable except for the display. Someone else mentioned that many of us haven't tried on a HMD before. I'm one of those people and I would like to change that. Is there anyone around the downtown Boston area on Tuesday nights, or in the NYC area the rest of the week that is using a wearable and has some time to spare demoing their equipment? Also, as far as operating systems, my goal is to be able to use the wearable instead of my desktop machine (since I frequently travel out of the office), but unfortunately this means Windows 95 or Windows NT unless I get very proficient at Linux and can duplicate some of the same features I have in the office. Any thoughts about this problem as well?
