Wearable durability enhancement

I noticed when looking at my old bottle of conformal coating that it
enhances vibration resistance and virtually eliminates water vapor worries.
I'm wondering if anyone in the group has looked at this type of product
applied to the wearable boards to increase durability. One friend of mine
asked why dont I just encase the whole thing in an epoxy block. Except for
the upgradeability this is actually a great idea if you wanted your PC-104
stack to handle submersion and having a car parked on it.
