Probably won't survive if it is mounted on the bottom of a hoof, might
survive if it is mounted on the human, will more likely survive is strapped
tightly to the horse's torso.  What do you think the accel profile will
look like?  Will the track-mounted laser of a CD survive without skipping
the music?  Will the servo-mounted MR of a HD survive without
skipping/scratching the platter?  All depends on the accel curve.
