There are some definite bright spots around the country where connectivity exists that surpasses what is normally seen from ISP's. That requires a little extra effort in the equipment. 9600 is fairly easy. 56k is do-able but not trivial. It just so happens that Steve's now on the edge of the Puget Sound network.
