Yes! I remember those! I priced one out while stationed in Germany.. about
$900DM or about $460USD at the time. If I remember correctly, this was a
B/W *CRT* on a watch that was nearly an inch thick. You had to wear a
battery pack on you belt just to operate the darn thing. I tried to demo it
in the store, but it was unable to pick up anything indoors. Still, it was
very impressive, and very expensive :)

Heh.. knowing Japan and their "we get all the cool technology, while
Americans dont" situation... every Japanese person with a decent salary
probably has one sitting on their shelf collecting dust by now :( BTW, it's
probably PAL.. so scratch using it with an NTSC device :(:(:(:(:(
