Hi, for you using WaveLAN with Linux or intending to: when I attended the ISWC98 I become aware that my recently purchased Lucent WaveLAN PCMCIA cards (802.11 compliant with built in antenna) will not work because these cards contains new hardware which is incompatible with the existing Linux drivers. I got a message from Lucent today where they told me that development of new Linux drivers is their next priority, but at the moment they can not say when the new drivers will be ready. I also got to know (not the same message) that they are actually looking for a person able to write such drivers so if you feel that you are good in that kind of Linux programming and you feel that you have time to do it, why not give them a call or mail. During this time the Swedish retailer will kindly let me "downgrade" to the previous cards with external radio and antenna and will later let me upgrade when the drivers are ready.
