like Mann was saying, even in scary parts of town, thug looking people
would go to the other side of the street when he came by because he looked
so scary.
I would give a great deal of consideration before trusting my personal
safety to Steve's opinion of a typical mugger's behavior.
On the other hand, if people would like to run the experiments and
give us some real data, so much the better. Please be sure to tell
someone before you set out, so your lack of return can be properly
notated and we won't have a persistent sample bias that favors only
those who -didn't- vanish.
