Throat mic sources

Folks,

I purchased my ADM-500 Throat microphone/earpiece from AES, a
well known amateur radio supply company. The info page for the
microphone is:

http://www.adi-radio.com/amateur/microphones/index.html

and you can follow the links to the dealer of your choice. I
purchased the least expensive model (designed for Icom radios)
since I plan to hack off the factory connector anyway.

As a side note, I am looking into what will be required to convert
it to VOX for handsfree use. I have an old walkie-takie with a VOX
circuit that should be a good scavenge piece.

Good luck!
Tramm
