It helps to give more forewarning to potential buyers, too (I only saw the mail after the auction had closed.) It was a auction, that price was per unit, but you are competing with others who want to buy the units as well... "The Thrill of the hunt" for some people <G> I don't mind what's (to me) potentially useful information like this, so long as it's kept to a dull roar, doesn't become over, oh, 2% or so of the total list e-mails. A valid return e-mail address, and the ad fairly short, are good too. This one was OK under those criteria (much of the length was disclaimers <G>) But I didn't write the mail list charter & haven't read it lately!
