see http://wearcam.org/orbits

see also the related paper in IEEE Trans. Image Processing.

back in the mid 1980s i did a lot of still pictures with my wearcomp,
and exhibited these in various art galleries. large size pictures,
high quality images, etc., and also if you look through the
site, you get the program freewear to make this yourself,
high q. pictures that you can enlarge and look like photographs.

see other papers
http://wearcam.org/research.html
such as the photoquantigraphic imaging which
i named the "wyckoff principle", in honor of wyckoff
who invented extended response film (this is a wearcomp
version of what the wyckoff film does)
