Umm, if you are the witness of a crime, I.E. police beating someone, your device will be ripped from your head and stomped on. It has happened to many people who have cought police violating a persons rights, the only reason we ever saw the rodney king tape was because it was filmed from a distance, inside a house where an officer cannot easily relieve the videotaper of their rights, and it was released to the Media before the police department, as it would have "dissappeared". There is a tiny tv station here in my town, and when they started to create a news department it was commonplace for the police to relieve the reporters of their equipment including tape, "for the good of the public" and it was considered evidence. It took 2 years and a lawsuit for them to get the equipment back, the tapes were mysteriously erased (Must have stored them wrong in the evidence room) and the cameras looked like they were dragged back to the station behind the patrol car. Remember, if you plan on videotaping anything be ready to run like hell as the police, security guard, others will beat the crap out of you to get the equipment and tape. We were most successful getting news footage when a major network station was taping also, that way we were protected by the resources and "live" abilities of the networks. >> at least there's evidence if you're pulled over and falsely accused of >> something, or like when someone's pulled from a car and beaten... > >Unfortunately, my apparatus blocks my field of vision so much that it is >illegal to drive while wearing it...
