Also, I should note, some most stores aren't like Fry's (or at least from what I've heard of Fry's rather paranoid customer policy, its sounds similar ot a store near us called Circuit City and what used to be Silo, very paranoid people) What was I getting at.. oh yeah. Radio Shack is one of those stores I imagine they would think it was a trip to have someone with a wearable browsing their store. And when I was purchasing a pack to store my wearable at EMS (Eastern Mountain Sports), I brought in just the computer (minus HMD and keyboard) and they were excited about it, and wanted me to come back and show it off for them. So, I think the impression that all retailers are in with "big brother" is a little far fetched. Sure some of them are worse then others, but of all the places you go on a daily basis to shop most of them will probably let you get away with having a wearable, typing in prices to do some comparisson shopping, and maybe even take snapshots of clothing, or ratchet sets to look over later, without much trouble. But I think the people who will want to throw you out of their store for having a bunch of electronics strapped on are in the minority, and most of them once you explain what is is will probably be okay with it. I should add, I haven't had the pleasure of shopping with my wearable on, and I may find out this assumption is totally groundless and have the bruises to show it, but if others have had different experiences I'd like to hear them. -Paul -- R.
