I'll let you write the code for the laser scanner, since you want it. You might need to add a battery for the laser scanner (could be a few NiMH's - and solar cells to recharge them?) - and I can spare a whole 1 pin off the 16C66 for the Barcode Scanner interface, of the 5 free, I figure <VBEG> Actually, why don't you put a CCD camera on there; less power usage, could run it off the keyboard power that way, probably! I'm sure I can help with the barcode reading algorithm, have a good barcodes book lost somewhere in storage from when I worked at Intermec <G> If we require the ADXL202 be installed for this feature, you can do inertial nav using it in the 17C765A processor, Tim; I could then give you a couple more I/O pins as I won't have to reserve any for the tilt/mouse functionality, and you can easily do the low-pass filtering in the 17C765A. You shouldn't have too hard a time adding in WWV time receiving, and GPS functionality; I'll let you figure out the frivolous mag heading sensor <G> Then once that's done, we can install a hacked version of it as an autopilot on Robin's wheelchair <VBG> Mark,, "Mark the Cruel" in this context! <G> -- Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" to
