cheap batteries for you...

I remember you saying something about both of your LTE's batteries being
dead...  Mine is too, but I hardwired the 5v lead of the power supply
from an external SCSI case into it...  Most places where I work with it
have outlets nearby.

But, if you don't mind toting lead-acids around, here's the place to get
them (this may be of interest to others, too):

They say that the used batteries are removed from equipment as part of a
regular maintenance schedule, so I imagine that they are still perfectly
good.

They also have some NiCads, but I think the lead-acids are by far the best
deal for the most usage time.
