I have my GPS antenna on my shoulder strap of my backpack, it works great and only loses it's signal when indooors, the cellular antenna can be sewn into the backpack also. No problems with reception on that either. although I dont use the cellular very much anymore, (My pockets arent that deep) I switched to a packet system on 440Mhz/9600bps.
