I seem to remember a few years back seeing pictures of some guy who had paid to have teflon or some sort of non-reactive metal studs screwed into his head. I believe it was just above the hairline. He would then screw on animal bone horns. I was thinking it would be possible to do the same on top of your head, just simply find a cosmetic surgeon who would be willing to do this and then you would have a mount for the antenna! As for the fiber optics in the eye I think that I personally would bump into something sooner or later and send the very nice fibre into the middle of my eye. Maybe I am squeamish but I think outside the eye retinal displays would be better/safer/more durable, and I wear contacts. later thom ___________________________________________________________ Thomas Geer Marine Biological Laboratory, Woods Hole, MA 02543 Tel:508-289-7629 fax:508-540-6902 E-mail:On Fri, 17 Jul 1998, Boris wrote: > > > Eugene Leitl wrote: > > <snip> > > > As to this: as I'll need to place the GPS/cellular antenna somewhere > > high above, I would seem to need a helmet mount.
