I seem to remember a few years back seeing pictures of some guy who had 
paid to have teflon or some sort of non-reactive metal studs screwed into 
his head. I believe it was just above the hairline. He would then screw 
on animal bone horns. I was thinking it would be possible to do the same 
on top of your head, just simply find a cosmetic surgeon who would be 
willing to do this and then you would have a mount for the antenna!

As for the fiber optics in the eye I think that I personally would bump 
into something sooner or later and send the very nice fibre into the 
middle of my eye. Maybe I am squeamish but I think outside the eye 
retinal displays would be better/safer/more durable, and I wear contacts.
