Count me in! I've been lurking on this list for many months and when I think about what kind of wearable computer I want, I keep coming back to the audio (speech i/o) wearable as well. Although, it would be nice to have a wearable that is scalable. Plug in a display, keyboard, or twiddler and operate it like a desktop system if you want. But for an speech i/o interface, I would imagine that the dialog would not so much be "you" and "computer" but "you" and "process" where speech i/o would be routed to which ever process you were currently talking to. Each process would have different voice characteristics. They could be like your personal secretaries. Hunting down information for you and bringing them to your attention as instructed. Subject: Re: Sound input & output I absolutely love it ;)! Lets work on development of such a thing. Have a transmitter and reciever at the nice plump computer full of the goods at home. Then do all of the operating with your voice and receive messages. I'll buy two Hehehe :) Really I am definately interested R.
