Or has anyone tried > this? > Kent Download Sulawesi and have a play http://wearables.essex.ac.uk/sulawesi/index.html At the moment i only have speech recognition and speech generation under windoze, if somebody had a spare 5 mins they could knock up a speech renderer using festival or rsynth (the API for sulawesi is on the web page), speech recognition under linux I have not attempted yet, but I had a look at Abbot (http://www.softsound.com/index.html) and it's probably not to hard to intergrate it into Sulawesi. I have Sulawesi reading the news from the bbc's web site, and telling me the time. It's not much at the moment, but the posibilities are countless.
