>All in all, this is not just a motherboard, but a scaled down desktop system, >but the excess "asthetic"(sp?) casing can be removed if need be Having missed some of the early mention of this system, being brought up to speed in the interim, this may have been mentioned already. But...What are the dimensions of the system, both with the "aesthetic casing", and the smallest possible after its removal? > The HD has to be a laptop one, because of the metal framing and the >fact that the rear of the HD (with the included socet adapter) plugs >directly into a portion of the computer. Hrm. The specs sent around by Mark Willis seemed to indicate that any 2.5" IDE drive was usable. By "laptop" HD, what do you mean? Having not seen the system myself, this may be off base, but I can't think of any reason you couldn't just use some ribbon cable to get whatever HD orientation you like, getting around the previously existing limitations... Comments would be great. It's nice to have a guinea pig. ;) Also, what's the report on the UART(s)?
