What do you want it to do? 32K RAM and 64K video RAM? I dont know what you want it to do, but it certainly will not do what I expect out of a wearable. That alone stopped me from looking further at the device. I stopped long befor e the other main issues you will likely face, like building a proper display adaptor, (re)writing a useful OS, not to mention the device drivers and apps for use in 32K. I know this discussion glosses over several complexities, and you may even get all those details worked out w/o much effort (ie, the device may be ideal for easy adaption to a 'wearable') but just what use will it be? Spend 400-1200 on optics, and 200 on a keyboard, 100+/ea on batteries......etc, and what do you get? I'm not looking for flames here, but I am hoping you might broaden my mind on the question of function if you have one in mind, as I have very specific ideas about what I demand in a wearable, and this device will not meet my requirements. Unless you have something in mind, I'd say save the 100 bucks, or send it to me <g> Michael Pursifull Sr System Analyst/Admin SYTEX (Land Information Warfare Activity) > I will be ordering one of the Timeline boards tomorrow, so I can just > read the docs & run programs on it, to find out about it (as TimeLine > seems to still have problems getting info I want!) >
