Re: newsgroup comp.sys.wearables

I agree that some commecial announcements should be allowed when they
are directly relevant to the group and wearables, and have added the
following line to the charter (but retaining the line prohibiting
commericial posts) as follows:

Commercial advertisements for wearable and related products and services
may be allowed at the human moderators' discretion, but will be
generally
prohibited.

see: http://reg16.admin.rochester.edu/~mccarty/comp.sys.wearables.html

Let me know if this is contradictory, or if this sounds bad.

Also, this is gonna sound pathetic, but I hope I can count on many of
the wear-hard subscribers to approve this new newsgroup when it goes to
vote. I've been watching various other newsgroups and most of them fail
not because there was any objection to the new groups, but because less
than 100 people voted, and the 'yes' votes have to outpace the 'no'
votes by 100 votes. Also, If this doesn't pass there will be a
moratorium on comp.sys.wearables for 6 months. :-\

Thanks for any feedback on this proposal.
