>From what I seen of the faxview product, which the p-5 is used in and is based on, it's a handheld device, and uses some wierd propitary circutry, I havent seen the deveopers kit but it did sound like the devel kit wasnt something that was plug-in and go, but required re-design and special drivers that are very un-like the P-4's drivers. so along with a full re-design of the case to make the unit only block one eye, most everything else will require re-design.
