In short, no. :) I have a CardPC, actually the OKI clone because it was cheaper. In addition to the CardPC you might need an SODIMM for RAM. You will also want one of the PC-104 motherboards made by Parvus or Intelec (the PC-104i for Intelec or the Scalable CPU by Parvus), unless you plan on building your own to support the EASI connector on the CardPC (not reccommeneded). You will also need the cable kit from Parus or Intelec, especially from Intelec since they use IDC headers with a 1mm pitch... real pain in the a**. A decent case and power supply and batteries are necessary; at the very least, you'll need something with a 10 or 20 watt DC output at 5 volts just to run the CardPC up - most wall transformers won't go that high. On the upside, you can plug in whatever HDD, mouse, keyboard, and VGA, CGA, or LCD monitor you have. I won't comment on running Windows CE, except to say that these machines can run the full version of 95, you'd be better off with that; there is nothing about the hardware platform that requires or confers a benefit with windows CE. The most important thing to do when using the CardPC platform: 1) Buy the cable kits! 2) Get a good power supply.
