Dusting, a.k.a. Lightvector Painting
Painting with Lightvectors represents a new medium in visual art.
A special kind of
PIC that relies on an
application of the
Wyckoff principle,
Dusting entails
capturing multiple images of the same scene, each with its own,
sharply distinct, lighting conditions. Often, this means highlighting
small areas of the scene using
a
powerful flash. The images are then
combined, each with its own colour-weighting, to produce a composite
unlike any of the individual images - and often exceeding in dynamic
range and resolution, as well as drama, any possible single photograph
taken with the same equipment.
